In A Hundred Words

In A Hundred Words

She was choking. Drowning in words she couldn’t say, things she couldn’t express. She clawed at her throat, trying to rip the sentiments out of her windpipe.

All she wanted was to breathe. Just one gulp of air so she could keep fighting the obstruction clogging her lungs.

I love you I need you Let’s grow old together Hold my hand Don’t let go Kiss me I will always love you Don’t go.

It all stuck…

Learning Curve

Let’s get a little Dr. Phil or some shit like that here for a hot minute, dear readers.  I wanna talk about my feeeeeeeelings.  Because I do have them, in case you were wondering.

The feelings I wanna talk about are related to my boyfriend.  Maybe “feelings” isn’t the best word.  “Thoughts” might be better, but not by much.  The meaning I’m aiming for is somewhere in the middle.  Theelings?…

Weekly Update #23

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a proper weekly update post.  I don’t have a whole lot of time, but I did want to get something up on the blog.

Let’s see… Work is work.  They’ve got me trained in Med D, they’re forcing a schedule change because they’re no longer having Sundays available for work, and I’m not super happy about either thing.  But my team lead is pushing for me to become a…

“Is there a penalty?” He asked, avoiding looking directly at the clerk while he fingered the bills in his wallet.

“For only buying half?” The clerk replied, his own eyes on the boxes of bullets waiting to be rung up.  ”Not one you pay with money, sir…”

“Okay, then.  Just these.”  The customer pushed a few of the boxes closer to the clerk.  ”And a pack of Camel Menthols, please.” He added after…

In The Dog House

In The Dog House

Last week I was dog-sitting again.  Same pup as always – Birdie.  I don’t know if I’ve mentioned Boo before, but she’s my mom’s co-worker’s dog.  I first pet-sat back in November for this sweet old pup, and this week makes it the third time I’ve had the pleasure of Birdie’s company.

But as much as I like watching Birds, every time I watch her, I realize how much more I love cats.  Okay, how much…

Mejiro!

Mejiro! http://wp.me/s38i99-mejiro

That title most likely tells you absolutely nothing… Unless you googled it already. (On a side note, my post order got mixed up so scroll down to find my sakura plans~ They had already been posted before the last post. Fail on my part sorry! Anyway,) Mejiro are small green, with a dash of yellow, birds that have a white circle around their eyes. Also known as White-eyes or Japanese White Eyes…

Armed, but not dangerous, at least not yet….

Armed, but not dangerous, at least not yet….

So as I have said in an earlier post my camera is coming along more often. As much as I love my camera bag and everything that I can bring along sometimes it is just not as shoulder friendly as I would like it to be. So I am trying to cut down on what I bring and trying to go camera only. Half the time it feels as if I am walking around naked, I miss the bag that much. While it took a little bit…

New Gear~

I just published a post that I thought I had already published. Fail on my part. So now this is going to seem a little weird. Three maybe four posts right in a row!

I have been bringing my camera with me more often. Not as often as I like, but more than usual. So I have been getting more shots and have also gotten a few new pieces of gear to go along with it. So I thought I would share the…

Sakura Season Plans~

YEAH! It’s that time of year again! Sakura Madness! If there is a busy but beautiful time of year it is during this season. Spring has come and around the end of March, beginning of April everyone and their dog goes out to view the symbol of spring here in Japan, the Cherry Blossom!

I am no exception. This year however instead of just taking pictures of gorgeous flowers I am hoping to do a bit…

Bonbai~

Bonbai? What is that you ask? Well it is a bonsai ume(plum) tree and I got one!

I went to Nagahama to blow glass and also happened upon a bonsai exhibit. Now being American it is always interesting to see things that are, well, older than my country. I know that sounds weird but hang on a moment I shall explain. Japan, China and some parts of India have some of the longest, static, by static I…

In A Hundred Words

In A Hundred Words

As an author’s note, I sort of feel I need to make it clear that this isn’t somehow about me or about anyone I know.  I’m just a sick puppy and like the imagery of paper, ink, and beatings.

Black and blue ink splattered across the pages of her skin, soaking through one page after the next.  Each chapter is just more of the same.  Her beginning will be the same as her end – nothing but an unbroken…

Forever Student

The APAC site I work at is changing the type of calls that it mainly takes.  That means we all have a new round of training to go through.  Super fun!

In fact, I just started training yesterday.  We’re being trained on Medicare Part D.  And holy shit, is Medicare complicated!  Lord have mercy on my poor soul when I turn 65.  After two days, my head is spinning around and around.  I’m just waiting…
